Good Morning, Grade 6!
I thought it would be good practice for us to use our research skills to learn more about the history of our favorite foods. The wonderful thing about living in Canada is that we have so many cultures sharing various aspects of their heritage.
Food is one of those shared aspects. We often categorize food based on the cultures from which they originated. I have heard students often discuss certain meals associated with communities, like Italian food, Chinese food and Middle Eastern cuisine. These are a few examples of the many food choices available to us because we live in a country made up of individuals from over 200 countries around the world.
Today, I would like you to research your favorite food and complete the Google form below. In today's video, I have provided some sample questions to get you started on your research. This is NOT a full research project, so it should take you no more than 1 Hour.
